Request for Quote Issued for Mason

Request for Quote (RFQ) has been assigned to contract, and the quote period is closed.

The contract blocks are now getting issued for work on the Joseph Greer House.  To day, 26 June 2026, the Elk Valley Times post the following request for Bids;

 "The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids for the construction of the Joseph Greer Log Cabin and sealed bids for masonry work at the Joseph Greer Log Cabin. This cabin is to be located at the Camp Blount Historical Site, 1124 Huntsville Highway, Fayetteville, Tennessee 37334.

Proposals must be submitted to Purchasing Department, Municipal Building, 110 Elk Avenue South5 Fayetteville, TN 37334 by 10:00 a.m. CST July 15, 2024, For specifications contact Debbie Williams; Administrative Director at (931) 433–6154.  For questions, contact Colin Wakefield, Camp Blount Historic Association President, (931)703-6674.

It is good some traction is starting to get the project of the actual build going.  Other contracts based upon a 8-9 phased work breakdown structure are to follow soon.
