Another Fine Example - The Butler House
As mentioned the "House of the Messenger", The Butler House is one of the inspirations of the Joseph Greer House construction, as they are very similarly styled houses. The 56-page spiral bound booklet, of the reconstruction of the Butler House, is very interesting and provide much detail of the build of the house. The following links provide information of the Butler house before it was moved and rebuilt.

All proceeds from the sale of the "House of the Messenger" support the Joseph Greer Chapter and the Tennessee Society, Sons of the American Revolution. The funds will be allocated to historical and educational programs dedicated to the founding principles of the republic and the Constitution of the United States.
